My session yesterday ended up fine. I did however manage to run 6k under EV.
I’m still pretty happy about my play. Towards the end I played against a guy who would just never fold and kept 3betting both preflop and post flop. (click link for more)

April is over and it has been quite the rollercoaster ride. I’ve dumped a bit too much to certain opponents, which is why I’m going to really be strict with stop loss against competent opponents from now on.
Yes even seasoned pros sometimes suck at the most basic poker principles. (click link for more)

This past weekend I haven’t had time to play that much poker. My mother came back from Pakistan this past Saturday so me and Maya spent the two days before her arrival cleaning up her place. My mom never throws anything away! She still had stuff like my old clothes, my old computer stuff, my old Amiga 500! And a shitload of old newspapers.
We threw out so much stuff, that some of the neighbours thought she was moving out! Anyhow we finally got the place cleaned up real nice so she had a nice surprise when she came home. Maya’s friend Monica also arrived this saturday from Romania. Coincidently she arrived 10 min after my mom arrived.

The title of this blog entry was going to be "Winning, Winning, Winning!" because before last night happened everything seemed to be going my way.

Poker coaching is a funny thing. It’s usually the route lots of pros take when they are running bad or in the middle of a big downswing. It’s usually the smartest thing to do, because you think more about your game when giving others advice and you don’t tilt if you’re playing with someone else’s money. I offered coaching last year about January 2009, when I was in the middle of a downswing and got a few people who were interested. (Click link for more)

This morning as I was sleeping I had a dream. I was on a bus on my way back home to my mom’s. I had two big suitcases with me and for some reason three big pots with food, lol. As the bus arrives at the busstop I go out with the first suitcase and try to wave at the busdriver that I’m not done yet. I go back in to get the next suitcase and the bus drives off. I however don’t even manage to get off at the next busstop either...(click link for more)

Sorry for the lack of updates. This past week has been pretty hectic. I’ve been trying to put in a lot of hours at the tables, which was going well but ended in me losing about 5800$ in about 12 hours time. I decided to take a few days off since Maya was also coming to visit.
She arrived Friday and we’ve been having a great time together. Saturday we ended up going out with some friends after the Barcelona-Real Madrid match.(click link for more)
