Her er lidt til den engelske lige kan detsværre ikke nå at smide andre ligaer på nu.
Den helt sore fidus idag må være Burnley - Wigan og Atletico Madrid som får et skud fra mig.
Held og lykke.
The Premiership
Birmimgham - Sunderland 2.93 - 2.65
Latest odds: home - draw - away The way I see it Birmingham are a typical Championship side, but playing in the Premiership. I have no complaints, they are doing their best. Their two wins have been against Hull and Portsmouth. Their S American striker Benitez will be back in contention for this match, but I should think that fit again C Jerome is the first choice for coach McLeish. Defenders S Parnaby and F Qeudrue are fit to play again.
Sunderland have lost their fighter, their hard man, L Cattermole, to an injury and he will be missing for a while. Maybe J Henderson will replace him, but also latest signing, Zenden, could be an alternative. I could not see Sunderland losing away to Burnley, but they did, despite dominating the game and I reckon that Sunderland cannot really be trusted in their away fixtures. Hard working Birmingham will get their point. The draw then.
Burnley - Wigan 2.57 - 3.04
You just have to back the home win. Is it not true that Burnley are 4-0-0 in their home games? And Wigan? Well, they won their first away game of the season vs. A Villa, but since then, they have lost three on the trot. Burnley will pick from the same squad that lost the derby against Blackburn, 2-3.
The Wigan keeper C Kirkland risks missing this match and P Scharner is also considered a major injury doubt. Right or wrong, I see Wigan as the stronger side, but I cannot ignore the statistics. As long as Burnley keep winning their home games, you just have to say thank you so much, when you get 2.57 on the home win.
Chelsea - Blackburn 1.22 - 20.00
Ususally Chelsea take no prisoners in games like this one, a home fixture at Stamford Bridge. Will Blackburn be able to offer that extra something in this match? It does not look like it. No, so far Blackburn have just done what has been expected. Not even that away from home (0-0-3).
D Drogba will be back for the home side and despite their midweek engagement, Chelsea should win this match, but then again, who cares, with odds like 1.22 on the home win.
Hull - Portsmouth 2.60 - 3.00
Home advantage for Hull, but Pompey are playing the better football at the moment. The winners? Well, I was wrong about Hull when they won their previous two home games, against Bolton and Wigan. I seldom trust Hull to win in the Premiership, it is as simple as that. Hull were poor away to Fulham earlier this week, but it was not all gloom and doom, as J Bullard made his come back, entering the game in the second half. Likely starter tomorrow.
Portsmouth will be without the suspended M Brown. He is certainly not my favourite player in the Premiership, but coaches seem to love players like the uncompromising M Brown. O'Hara will be available again. What more can be said about this match between these two struggling Premiership sides? Both the encounters last season ended in draws.
Tottenham - Stoke 1.48 - 8.21
J Defoe will not play for Tottenham as he is suspended, but I think that Peter Crouch will function better against Stoke than Defoe, so no problems there. Tottenham will be at full strength, at least in my opinion and I foresee problems for Stoke tomorrow, despite their three game unbeaten run away from home. Stoke have to do without their German defender, R Huth and A Wilkinson will be his replacement. Home win, but quite worthless odds.
Wolves - Aston Villa 3.65 - 2.22
Latest odds: home - draw - away Was it the best Wolves line up away to Everton last week? Probably, with for example both Ebanks-Blake and M Kightly playing from the start. Also Zubar started in defence. I like to think that Villa will be the winners in this match. They are quite simply the much better side and it would take some sensational efforts from the Wolves player to actually win this match. I will play it safe and I will be backing the away win.
Bolton - Everton 2.89 - 2.67
Latest odds: home - draw - away Bolton are looking pretty good at the moment, but the fact remains that they have failed to win at the Reebok Stadium this season (0-2-2). Everton are not getting the results that they are looking for and their last two home draws, vs. Stoke and Wolves, have been especially disappointing. Their midweek excursion to Portugal for a game with Benfica (0-5 loss) will not help them against Bolton, despite coach Moyes resting some of his leading players in Portugal. Everton certainly need some of their defensive aces back, or they will be in trouble tomorrow. Yobo, Lescott, L Baines and L Osman, all were missing in Portugal. At least Heitinga and L Neil will be back for this match, but now also Bilyaletdinov is struggling. He is an injury doubt. Home win or the draw.
Liverpool - Manchester Utd 3.15 - 2.50
Latest odds: home - draw - away As I said in my season previews, Liverpool are too dependant on Gerrard for their own good. Without Gerrard, Torres and G Johnson they as well, forget about thier chances in this match. However I just heard that G Johnson has declared himself fit to play and from what Johnson is stating, it looks like F Torres will play on Sunday as well.
W Rooney, R Giggs, D Fletcher, Evra and Park, two or three of these midweek absentees, will be back for United. W Rooney seems to the biggest doubt. The bookmakers have made it close to impossible backing United. I mean, favourites at Anfield? There is a limit to everything. If Torres will be fit to play, I will give the odds on the home win a chance.
Manchester City - Fulham 1.53 - 8.00
Latest odds: home - draw - away Home win for City! Zabaleta will not play for M City, but C Bellamy will be back in contention, probably K Toure as well. Now City can easily replace most players, also Bellamy and Toure, and the home side will definitely be OK ahead of this match. D Murphy and A Johnson will hopefully be back for Fulham. Fulham always play nice football, but City do it better. Home win.
The Championship
Swansea - Blackpool 2.26 - 3.54
Latest odds: home - draw - away Two in form sides and I prefer the home win. Swansea are unbeaten in seven league games and in midweek they rather deservedly defeated the top side, WBA. G Monk, Pintado and Orlandi were close to making their come backs against WBA, but they were not ready. Monk and Pintado may return for this match, but no Orlandi. The Blackpool coach, Holloway, keeps on rotating his squad and it works just fine for him, at least this far. Expect changes again for this fixture. Swansea to win!
Derby - Q P R 2.92 - 2.68
Backing the away win as QPR are in excellent form. Last week they scored as many as eight goals against Preston and Reading. They were down to ten men against Reading, but it did not stop them from scoring. The red carded B Watson will be missing tomorrow, but QPR are well equipped on their midfield.
Big problems for the Derby coach Clough. His list of absentees was already into double figures ahead of their midweek game with Middlesbrough and in the match, both K Commons and MacEveley suffered injuries and they will be absent in this match. B Hughes has joined the club from Hull. Q P R for this writer.
Huge price on the Barnsley home win against Bristol City. (2.60) Barnsley play some decent stuff and B City have yet to win an away game this season. Yes, Barnsley have a fully fit squad.
Spanien
I guess you just have to back Mallorca away to A Madrid. The odds on the away win are sensational (4.57). A Madrid keep on losing football games and after their midweek loss in London against Chelsea, their coach Abel Resino, was sacked. Laudrup was supposed to take over, starting with this match, but he has not accepted the offer. Spalletti and Quique Flores are new options for the post. According to the latest reports, Abel will lead A Madrid in this match, but it will be his last one in charge. Messy situation, to say the least. Now the definite story. Quique has accepted the job and he will be on the bench against Mallorca. Mallorca will start with the same line up as last week, at home to Getafe. Away win!
