"Phil Hellmuth moved to table 43, seat 7 joining Josh Arieh and Alexander Kostritsyn. He sat down and immediatly played his first hand in the big blind in the following hand:
Alex Kostritsyn raised the pot to 5,000 and Josh Arieh called from behind. Hellmuth came along for the ride in the big blind saying, "I have a big hand here, boys."
The flop came down Q87r and action was checked to Josh Arieh, who bet 12,000. Hellmuth check-raised to 28,000 and Kostritsyn got out of the way.
Arieh reraised to 63,000. Hellmuth asked for a count of Arieh's remaining stack, and after hearing he had 48,300 more he moved all in.
Arieh snap called.
Hellmuth: 84o
Arieh: QQ
When Hellmuth turned over his hand he reconized the severity of his mistake saying, "I'm drawing dead. Good play, kid"
Phil Hellmuth ♥

Eastgate Clipped
With a raise to 7,500 before him, Peter Eastgate made the call from the button, as did a player in the big blind. Eastgate fired out 13,000 on the Q♣Q♠8♠ flop once it was checked to him by both players. The big blind folded, but the original raiser made the call before checking the on the 9♦ turn. Eastgate continued with another bet; this time for 20,500, in which his opponent again made the call. The river landed the 6♣ and with the action once again checked to him, Eastgate fired 38,000 at the pot. His opponent however opted to check-raise to 108,000 with Eastgate quick to make the call. Eastgate mucked at the sight of his opponent's Q♦6♦ as he slipped to 223,000 in chips.
