Auto-Import Pacific Poker Hand Histories
To use this feature, select "Auto-Import Pacific Poker Hand Histories" from the File Menu.

NOTE: IN ORDER TO USE CAPTURE HAND HISTORIES FROM PACIFIC POKER THAT POKER TRACKER CAN USE you must download a separate program called Pacific Poker HandGrabber. This IS NOT a Poker Tracker program, it was written by and supported another site. You can download the program and find payment details for it here.

With a Pacific Poker table open, whether you are in the hand or not, Pacific Poker HandGrabber will write the hand history to a text file on your computer as soon as the hand ends. Because of this, you can use the Auto-Import Pacific Poker Hand Histories window to check for and import new files on a timed basis.

Step 1: You need to tell Poker Tracker where the hand history files are written to. Click the Configure button and navigate to the folder where you have installed Pacific Poker HandGrabber. In the hand grabber folder will be a "History" sub-folder that you should point to.

Step 2: This step is not required but it is recommended. Click the "Move processed files to the following folder..." box and then enter or select a folder where you want Poker Tracker to move the hand history files after they have been processed. This folder does not need to exist when you enter it here. If Poker Tracker needs to create the folder, it will at the appropriate time. If you already have a folder set up for this purpose, click the Browse button to select the folder. The reason this is recommended is to make the import faster. Initially when you start the timer or click the Force Import button, Poker Tracker will have to read through all of the text files and evaluate whether the hand has already been loaded into the database. The more files you have, the longer this will take. If you choose to move the files to another folder after they are processed, then it will speed up this process significantly.

Step 3: Set the timer. Tell Poker Tracker how often you want to check for new hand history files. The default is every one minute. Finally, click the Start Timer button to begin. Now you can continue playing or watching tables and as you do, the files will be imported automatically. If you are using the Game Time windows or have any stats windows open, the data will refresh showing the updated stats.

Each time Poker Tracker reads a hand history file, it will create a status record in the bottom window. You can print this information if need be by clicking the small "p" button. To clear the contents of the status window, click the small "c" button.

If you want to hide the status window, to make the window smaller, check the Hide status window box.

If you want to check for new hand history files before the timer is fired, click the Force Read From Database button.

Other settings:

Auto-rate players when importing hand histories (ring hands only) - check this box if you want Poker Tracker to assign icons based on the set of user-defined rules that you have established using the Auto Rate Players window. As you import hands and players fall within the criteria, Poker Tracker will set their icon on the statistics window to reflect your ratings. Please note that using this option will cause the import to take longer as it evaluates each player being loaded.
Observed Hands - Only import hands with - Pacific Poker HandGrabber enables you to get hand histories from Pacific without having to actually sit down at the table and play a hand. These are known as "observed hands" to Poker Tracker. For these types of hands, if you only want to keep track of hands with a certain number of players in them, then use this option to tell Poker Tracker how many players should be in the hand in order for it to be imported. If you are normally a person that plays at 10 handed tables, you may want to set this option to only import if there are more than or equal to 7 players in the hand. The rea

Hey,

HG gemmer HHs i \\HandGrabber\History.
