Jonathan Little is fighting hard for Card Player's Player of the Year race. He's been on the short stack for the last two days, but he hasn't gone quietly.

Little just finished doubling through Gus Hansen. Little was all in preflop with 66 against Hansen's K7. The board came 92243 and Little doubled up to 159,000.

If Little finishes in the top two of this event, he will overtake David Pham for player of the year.

Gus Hansen comes in for a raise and Erik Seidel moves over the top and all in. Hansen makes the call and flips over K8 while Seidel shows 99. The flop comes K43, with the king in the window giving Hansen top pair and reducing Seidel to two outs. The turn brings the J, but the river brings the 9, giving Seidel a set of nines and the win. After this hand Seidel brings his stack to just over 200,000.

Gus Hansen is all in with 88 against chipleader Ken Rosen's KJ. It's a race situation, and Hansen needs his pocket pair to hold up to stay alive.

The board comes 10546A, and Hansen's pocket eights hold up to win the pot. Gus Hansen doubles up to about 485,000, while Ken Rosen takes a hit down to a still-strong 1.19 million.
