Til de interesserede er her en mail, jeg modtog fra min rakeback udbyder ang. PartyPoker. Jeg har udeladt navne og webadresser, således at det ikke overtræder Pokernets forumregler:
Well it"s been a long time coming but here it is...and it"s going to be a lot different from what some of you were hoping for....but believe us when we say this is as good as it gets on a legitimate basis going forward. Apologies if it"s a bit long winded.....
Background:
Just prior to the split from the Network our CEO met with the CEO of Party and subsequently with a number of top people in their London offices. The talks were all about the present situation and future of rakeback and we were advising them on the ins and outs of the rakeback from a leading affiliate point of view. Obviously we had no idea what was about to happen with the split....!
Following the split there was a mad rush by affiliates claiming they had "special" deals with Party to give rakeback to players. This was all complete lies. They were merely trying to scare people in to signing up with them to try and capitalise on any future deal that might occur.
Since the split, our CEO has been in continuous touch with Party in order to establish what they were planning so far as an "Internal Rewards System" was concerned.
We can tell you now that there is no general internal rewards system for rakeback players at Party Poker. There is simply a team of individuals who have been assigned to look at high volume players and reward them on a continuous basis whether they were previously rakeback players or not. In fact they actually just leave most players to approach VIP services themselves and ask for rewards. What determines high volume in Party"s eyes? Who knows but it"s probably worth anyone trying their luck once you have an account...after all, all they can say is "No!"
Let"s be clear about one thing going forward PARTY POKER WILL NOT DO rakeback EVER. NEVER. EVER EVER.
It is against everything they believe in
Party are clamping down hard.
We have this from on high. Any affiliate who is caught issuing lots of individual trackers (so that they can get individual player breakdowns) will be flagged by the system and will be shut down.
What about existing accounts which get rakeback?
Well it looks like they may be grandfathered in and allowed to stand. But that could also change at some stage too (though this has not been intimated). But for now any player who has a rakeback account with us will continue to get rakeback. If we have issued you a code but you haven't used it yet...you still can use it...but we will not issue anymore.
So where does this leave those people who have no account at all yet?
Well those of you who want can try and sign up with a less reputable affiliate for rakeback if you can find it and run the risk of never getting anything at some stage in the future.
If Party shut down the affiliate, would party close your account? Almost certainly not.
Those of you who don't want to take the chance can consider joining the scheme we have outlined on our Party Page
What about people who have existing accounts but without rakeback?
This applies to a lot of you and hundreds of you have asked us for advice. Firstly Party will not reassign any player to a different affiliate so that is not an option. Many of you have suggested getting your partners/friends or family to sign up and use that account. Some have suggested closing your existing account and opening another (telling Party that you will not play there unless you can have a new account under an affiliate).
Here is our stance on this. We will not comment or advise you on this subject. If there are ways of getting on to our proposed scheme you need to make your own decisions. We do not want you to tell us how you have done it. It is no
