Poker Industry On the Rise

New study by bookmaker Ladbrokes reveals the true future of online poker.
Apparently the popularity of online poker has grown six fold in the last year, and it seems like its still on the rise.

Industry experts predicted this rise, but not those figures, the new study show that the amount gambled in poker rooms around the world increased from £6m a day last January to £38m in December.
Those figures are beyond anyone´s expectation.


Ladbrokes, who claim to have more than 40,000 registered users on their own poker rooms added that more than 150 poker rooms are thought to be operating on the internet today, compared with only 30 in 2002.

In Big Britain alone £3 million a day is staked on internet games.

The report speculates that this year´s growth may equal that of last year´s as people continue to catch the poker fever.
