"That Ain't Right

Tiffany Michelle just suffered a big beat. After an opponent raised to 2,000 preflop and Tony Antonious called, Michelle reraised to 10,000. The original raiser folded, but Antonious, who has already been given an "excessive celebration" warning, made the call.

The flop came down {2-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. Antonious led out for 16,000, prompting Michelle to quickly push all in. Antonious called for less, a total of 65,000.

Antonious: {Q-Hearts} {10-Clubs}
Michelle: {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades}

Antonious didn't have to sweat long -- the turn was the {10-Diamonds} and the river fell {Q-Clubs} to make a full house, tens full of queens, for Antonious. Michelle was described as "fuming," asking Antonious questions like, "How could you call?" When Antonious pointed out his flush draw, Michelle responded that she made it 10,000 preflop. Antonious responded by showing a photo of his house in Florida and suggesting they should both go fishing after the tournament was over.

From middle position, Chris Grigorian moved all in for his last 60,000 chips, and he got a call from the player seated in the small blind. When the big blind folded, Grigorian announced, "I got John Juanda," and turned over {J-?} {J-?}. His opponent saw the good news and said, "I got his mother," tabling {Q-?} {Q-?}.

No doubt quite a few players were out last night celebrating the fact that they cashed in the Main Event. One such player is sitting at Table 6 and looking a little green around the gills, and he asked the dealer, "If I throw up on the table, is that a penalty?"

Schoenfeld Eliminated by "The Good-Looking Guy"

Adam Schoenfeld just received a brutal knockout blow. Preflop, Sigurd Eskeland opened the pot for 19,000 and was called by Lawrence Jacobs in the small blind. Sitting in the big blind, Schoenfeld reraised to 50,000. Eskeland wasted no time in pushing all in for 267,000. That was enough to fold Jacobs, but it put Schoenfeld into the tank. Eskeland's raise was enough to put Schoenfeld all in. He finally made the call. An ESPN camera crew came running to the table as the dealer announced the all-in. One member of the crew asked the dealer which players were involved. "The good-looking guy and me," answered Schoenfeld. With that established, each player opened his hand. Eskeland: KdJd Schoenfeld 10c10d: Upon seeing the hands, Schoenfeld jokingly asked a floor, "If I vomit, will that incur a penalty?" The dealer burned and turned a flop of 8c7h6d. No help for Eskeland. The turn 9s made a straight for Schoenfeld, taking away Eskeland's overcard outs, but giving him a gutshot draw. Schoenfeld started chanting, "No set, no set, no set," but made his set when the dealer delivered the 10h on the river. That card made Eskeland a higher straight to eliminate Schoenfeld. "Are you kidding me?" asked a stunned Schoenfeld. "Unbelievable." Johnny Chan came over to the table and looked at the board. "Split?" he asked. Then he noticed the hands and offered Schoenfeld his sympathy.

Først den her (fra en af de andre tråde - hvorfor har vi ikke en eller to WSOP sticky tråde ??????)

"The Mike and Gus Show Mike Matusow made a late-position preflop raise to 22,000. The action folded to Gus Hansen in the big blind. "You get 30 seconds, then I'm calling the floor. We're not going through all the bulls*hit," said Matusow. Hansen put in a reraise, which prompted a fold from Matusow. Matusow continued prattling on and mocking Hansen as the pot was pushed toward the Great Dane. Hansen, who often carries a tape recorder with him at tournaments to document his play, flipped it on. "I just bluffed Mike Matusow," he said, to laughter from the rail. "

Og så lidt senere :

"Gus Hansen raised to 50,000 from middle position, Reagan Silber reraised to 100,000 from the big blind and Hansen called. The flop was A 3 2 . Silber checked and Hansen bet 150,000.

"Nice bluff" said Silber as he mucked his cards.

"If he bluffed you, I give up poker for the rest of my life!" interjected Mike Matusow."
