Stor danskerdag - Eastgate, Kipster, Zupp, Jungleras, Veron22, NoName m.fl. spiller... kom så :)
WSOP Main Event 1D
Samme regler for alle ! :-)
Sorry, But You WON'T Be At the Feature Table
According to one member of the ESPN camera crew, Phil Ivey's table (table #90 in the orange section) was supposed to be the feature table to start the day. Everyone at the table was not only going to get a chance to play at the feature table with one of the greatest players in the game, but they'd also be lined up to receive about $10,000 in sponsorship money from various companies. Ivey didn't want to be seated at the feature table and he got his wish. Everyone at the table was pretty irritated at this decision. This was all according to the camera crew and we'll have to wait and see if any of the players go after Ivey a little bit more throughout the day.
@ Jensen
Hahah...
Less for Jesper
Jesper Hougaard has somehow dropped down to just 6,500. The exact circumstances of this are hazy, but the gentleman immediately to his left is currently the possessor of a suspiciously large stack...
Micon Angled?
The board read J♥3♣2♠3♥ with four players in the hand over at Bryan Micon's table. The small blind checked, the big blind bet 200, the next player called, and then Micon called. The river brought the 6♥ and the first two players checked. The third player fired out 250. Micon raised to 950. The first player from the small blind called and the big blind folded. The player that bet 250 grabbed a bunch of T1,000 chips -- six of them to be exact -- and tossed them into the pot. The dealer looked at the player and the player said, "That's a call, right?" "No sir, those are 1,000 chips, that's a raise." responded the dealer. "O.K." said the player. Micon looked puzzled and stood up from his chair, putting his hands on his head. "Sir, are you leveling me?" he asked. He deliberated for a few moments and then made the call. The other player got out of the way. The man that tossed in the reraise showed 6♦6♠ for a rivered full house. Micon showed the nut flush with the A♥5♥, but lost the hand.
(Everybody Loves) Ray's Chips
Not a terrible start for comedian Ray Romano but not a great one either, he's on 25,525 at the moment and sharing a table with the Dane Peter Jepsen who is doing slightly better with 34,000.
Update From the Feature Tables
There not a lot of action to report from over at the feature tables with Peter Eastgate and Erick Lindgren both progressing well on their respective tables. Both tables are pretty quiet with very little table talk and not a lot of big pots at this stage. Eastgate has chipped up nicely to 45,000 to get his title defense off to the right start, with Lindgren also in the black with 37,000 chips.
@ Thingyman
An unfortunate lady was taken aside by a floorman who most apologetically explained to her that she was being penalized for checking the nuts. "You see, you had the best hand possible, so if someone bets you have to raise and if someone checks you have to bet, you have to create action. See, if you don't, then it's more like a home game, with everyone just checking and all friendly..." The lady in question looked suitably patronized, and was issued her penalty on top of that.
ElkY Needs a Walk
There was 2,100 in the pot preflop and the flop came down {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {7-Clubs}. After the under-the-gun player bet out 1,000, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier raised to 2,700. The player under the gun then reraised to 7,000 and ElkY made the call.
The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and the first player checked to ElkY. He fired a bet of 5,250 and the player called.
The river was the {10-Hearts} and the player checked. ElkY checked right behind. When his opponent tabled {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} for a rivered Broadway straight, ElkY's jaw almost hit the table. He then mucked his hand and got up from his chair to take a walk.
ElkY is down to 18,000.
"Lots of conflicting reports about the players who were turned away. Feldman from ESPN originally told me that Antonius was turned away, but it turns out someone had bought him in so he's in today's event after all."
Må ned at kigge igen :)
Niel Before Hougaard
There was a mid position limper, but he soon got out of the way when Rasmus Nielsen raised from the cutoff and Jesper Hougaard reraised from the button. Mr. Limper got out of there swiftly before Nielsen went all in over the top, Hougaard called all in, and it was an easy double up for Hougaard as an improbably large crowd formed around the table to gawp.
Nielsen: {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs}
Hougaard: {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts}
Board: an entirely nine-less {K-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}
Hougaard doubles up to 15,000, while Nielsen languishes on 2,500.
@ Don_T
It's not a good day to be Leroy Soesman, he turned up today fully expecting to play on Day 1d of the main event and live the dream of winning the main event. Except there was one slight problem. He had bought in for day 1a instead. Unsure if he has actually got through the day, Soesman is now working with a couple of members of staff to see if his stack made it through the day.
lol Leroy is a noooooooob... :D
www.hollywood-celebrity-pictures.com/Celebrities/Torrie-Wilson/Torrie-Wilson-9.JPG
@ Kjerstein
Hou da Man?
Wow, an impressive recovery for Jesper Hougaard as he doubles up again to put him up to 32,000. It looked as though Hougaard bet every street of the 9♥5♦10♣4♦5♠ board, finally moving all in on the river -- and must have been delighted to be called all the way down, as he was holding 5♣5♥ for quads. "Ace ten?" he asked of his newly short-stacked opponent. Mr. Opponent nodded sadly.
@Thingyman
Ja der er to feature tables lige ved siden af hinanden men jeg må have muldvarpeøjne siden jeg ikke kunne spotte nogen celebs.
@ G-B-P
Pokernyhederne bekræfter, at Wissing sluttede i 185K.
