Danish Championship 2005

Expekt.com hosted the annual Danish Championship in poker last night. A total of 468 players were playing for the prestigious title - as well as a 1st price of $50,000.

Rather surprising the 1st price was taken by a Swedish player - we assume it has to be first time ever that a national championship has been won by a foreigner! Nevertheless, a Swedish player picked up the 1st price and "Danish Champion Title" beating a Danish guy in the final.

Later this year Expekt will host NM (Nordic Championships) which will be open for - everybody. The seat in that final will be handed to the best placed Dane from last nights final.
